There’s always been a wide variety of weapons in the Halo series. These weapons are what allow you to take down your enemies and win the game. Halo 3 weapons have been enhanced to give game play more action.
In the first Halo game, your primary weapon is the battle rifle, but you’re also equipped with a pistol. As you proceed through the game, there are still a wide variety of weapons that you can pick up. There’s the Plasma rifle, Plasma pistol, rocket launcher and also some grenades are available to you such as the frag grenade and the plasma grenade, and these are only naming a few weapons.
Things however did begin to change in Halo 2. Halo 2 brought in the dual wielding weapons for this franchise and the dual welding weapon of choice was the SMG. Again all of the weapons from the original Halo were enlisted in this game. In Halo 2 there were only certain weapons that you were able to use as dual weapons. You could carry the dual SMGs or you could change it up with a SMG and a Plasma Rifle or a SMG and a Brute Plasma rifle, dual pistols, a Plasma pistol and a Magnum, Dual Needlers, Plasma rifle and a magnum or a SMG and a magnum.
There have been some medications and even some new Halo 3 weapons. Let’s take a look at just a few of these weapons. Again the Assault rifle is back, like it was in the first two games. However developers made some modifications with it to allow for greater accuracy, more range and more damage per hit.
Developers also added some new weapons to Halo 3, take the Fuel Rod Gun, it’s a covenant weapon to counter the rocket launcher but before it came in game play for Halo 3 it was used only for multiplayer for the PC version of Halo. Now with the machine gun turret, no more getting sniped from a distance, pick it up and walk around as you kill your enemies.
The Missile Pod is another new weapon, like weapons of this caliber it causes your character to slow down and force you forces you out of the first person shooter perspective and into a third person shooter. Then you have the Spartan Laser, it’s used as an anti-vehicle weapon, whatever this thing hits totally destroys the target.
With each game that comes out, the developers of Halo are always trying to make things new and exciting and that’s including the new Halo 3 Weapons.
