Halo 3 Xbox game is a story-driven first-person shooter. It features all of the classic game play that all gamers expect from the Halo series. In Halo 3, gamers can expect more intense environments, new weapons and vehicles with a ton of added features for online game play.
Let’s take a look at the series.
First we have Halo: Combat Evolved. The first of the trilogy and considered by many the best first-person shooter for a console. In Halo: Combat Evolved, what gamers can expect is to be battling on foot, or in vehicles. They may battle in close quarters or in large outdoor environments. During game play, the gamer is playing as the main Character named Master Chief. It is the gamers mission to uncover Halo’s terrifying secret as well as destroy the Covenant.
Secondly we have Halo 2. In this part of the series, the gamer is still playing as the lead character all gamers have come to love, Master Chief. However the developer’s also have the gamers playing as the Arbiter during game play too. The gamer is continuing the fight that started in Halo: Combat Evolved. During this gameplay another Halo has been found and it’s on to kill a leader of the Covenant.
Then we have the Halo 3 Xbox game. The gamer is still playing as the main character known as Master Chief. Halo 3 picks up where the other two left off. Master Chief is trying to stop Prophet of Truth from wiping out the galaxy. While doing this, he’s also trying to find a solution another problem, that being an infestation of High Charity and the imprisonment of his AI Companion Cortana.
When Halo 3 was released to the public, it quickly became one of the most successful video games that have ever been released. Within its first week of sales, it sold over $300 million worth of copies. Within its first 24 hours of release, it was an estimated $170 million worth of copies that were sold. Halo 3 also became the largest pre-ordered game in history and quickly broke the records that Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 had achieved.
When Halo 3 Xbox game was released, there were 3 different versions that became available. There was of course just the standard edition of the game that simply game with the Game Disc and Manual and sold for $59.99 US. Another addition of the game was the limited Collector’s Edition.
This version differed from the standard edition; reason being is this edition came with the Game Disc, Manual, Interactive Xbox 360 Disc and Bestiarum for $69.99 US. The next edition of the game that was made available was the limited Legendary Edition. This edition sold the Game disc, Manual, Interactive Xbox 360 Disc, Bestiarum, Legendary DVD as well as a Master Chief Helmet Replica. This edition also sold for $119.99 US, but was a must have for gamers all around the world.
